    Can I hire Easy Moving for a PPM move?

    Yes. In a personally procured move (PPM), you hire the mover and the government reimburses you based on what it would have cost to move you. Get PPM counseling and approval from your transportation office first, then book us for the move.

    What is the difference between a PPM and a DITY move?

    They are the same thing. DITY, short for do it yourself, is the older name, and PPM, a personally procured move, is the current term. In both, you arrange the move and are reimbursed.

    Do you provide weight tickets for PPM reimbursement?

    Yes. We weigh the empty truck and the loaded truck on a certified scale so you have both weight tickets, and we give you an itemized receipt for your claim.

    Can you handle government-arranged military moves?

    Yes. Easy Moving is approved to handle government-arranged household goods moves. When a move is arranged through your transportation office, the office handles the booking.

    What if my orders or report date change?

    We work with flexible dates. Call us as soon as your orders change and we will move your date to the next available crew and truck.
