Montford and Park Road's Local Moving Team

Montford Movers Serving the Park Road Area

Montford Drive's restaurants and Park Road Shopping Center sit at the heart of a neighborhood of 1950s ranches, brick cottages, and newer condos and apartments. Our Montford movers work out of our South Boulevard location a couple of miles away and know how to get today's furniture through yesterday's doorways.

Moving In or Out of Montford

The Montford and Park Road area grew up in the years after World War II, when Park Road Shopping Center opened as one of Charlotte's first shopping centers and ranch houses filled the streets around it. Today those homes sit next to townhomes, condos, and apartment buildings, and Montford Drive is one of south Charlotte's busiest places for a night out.

That mix means two kinds of moves: careful work in older homes with narrow doors and hallways, and apartment and condo moves with stairs and parking to plan. Easy Moving's crew comes from our South Boulevard location, about two miles away, and handles both. See our local moving and furniture assembly services for the details.

Will It Fit Through the Door?

Many homes around Montford and Park Road were built in the 1950s and 60s, with narrower doors and hallways than today's furniture. Pick a piece and your doorway to check it before moving day.

Older Montford-area homes often have 30 to 32 inch interior doors. Measure the narrowest door and hallway on the route, and tell us about large sofas, sectionals, and box springs when you request a quote.
